

About Me
I am hold a psychology BSC and Post Graduate certificate of education. I also hold a diploma in clinical hypnotherapy awarded by the Northern College of Clinical Hypnotherapy
My experience in working with families and pupils with SEND needs has really brought to my attention how many people suffer with overwhelm, burnout and chronic stress and anxiety. I also see how this can present itself with physical symptoms such as headaches, IBS and insomnia.
Often the people I work with have tried traditional talking therapy and CBT, and have found little to no relief.
This led me to look for ways to work with people to create deeper, lasting change.
Hypnotherapy allows me to work with your subconscious mind, without needing to talk over the past, to create lasting change within you.
What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a gentle way of helping you create change.
It works by guiding you into a calm, focused state — a bit like when you’re daydreaming, lost in a good book, or just about to drift off to sleep. In this relaxed state, your mind is more open and more able to take in helpful ideas.
You are always in control. You can hear everything. You can move, speak, or stop at any time. It’s not about being “put under” or made to do anything. It’s about helping your mind feel safe enough to let go of what’s not working anymore.
When we’re stressed, anxious, or stuck in habits, it’s often because part of the mind is trying to protect us. Hypnotherapy helps that protective part relax. From there, we can build new patterns — calmer thoughts, healthier habits, stronger confidence.
It’s not magic. It’s not mind control.
It’s simply working with your mind in a kind and focused way.
And when your mind feels calmer, everything else feels a little easier too.
